Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how IT-Kitchen (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you visit this website — the promotional site for our WooCommerce plugins, QR Coupon and Pack Orders. It covers this website only. The plugins themselves, once installed on your own store, process data on your site under your control; see each plugin’s documentation for details.

Who we are

This website is operated by IE Sloboda I.O. (trading as IT-Kitchen). For any privacy question or request, contact us at legal@itk-agency.com.

What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and Google’s advertising tools to measure our marketing; in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom these run only with your consent (see Cookies and consent below). We show no ads on this website and have no contact forms or visitor accounts.

  • Analytics and advertising. Where permitted (see consent below), Google Analytics and Google’s advertising tags set cookies and collect information about your visit — such as pages viewed, clicks (for example on our “Get Pro” and free-install buttons), approximate location, and device and browser type — so we can measure traffic and how well our advertising works. This is tied to a pseudonymous identifier, not your name.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request — your IP address, browser type (user agent) and the time of access — to keep the site secure and running.
  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, we store that choice in your browser’s local storage (key itk-theme). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Purchases. If you buy a Pro licence, the checkout is handled by our reseller, Freemius. They collect the billing and contact details needed to process your payment and licence. We receive limited order information (such as your licence status and the email used); we never see your full card details.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.

Cookies and consent

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which set cookies (for example _ga) to measure traffic and advertising. We use Google Consent Mode to respect your choice:

  • If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, analytics and advertising cookies are disabled by default and load only after you choose “Accept” in our consent banner.
  • Elsewhere, they are enabled by default and you can turn them off with the “Reject” button.

Your choice is remembered in a cookie (itk_consent) for six months. To change it, clear that cookie (or your site cookies) and the banner will appear again. WordPress may set functional cookies only if you log in to the site administration, which ordinary visitors do not use. The light/dark theme preference is kept in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie. When you proceed to checkout, Freemius sets its own cookies on its own domain, under its privacy policy.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and secure the website, to understand and improve how the site performs (through Google Analytics), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (through Google’s advertising tools), to fulfil and support purchases (through Freemius), and to reply to enquiries you send us. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that help us run the service: our hosting provider, Google (analytics and advertising measurement), and Freemius for payments and licensing. Free plugin downloads are hosted by WordPress.org under their own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services

  • Google — Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and Google Ads (advertising measurement). See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out through our consent banner, and Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
  • Freemius — payments, subscriptions and licensing. See the Freemius Privacy Policy.
  • WordPress.org — hosting of our free plugin downloads.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Server logs are retained for as long as our host’s policy provides. Purchase and licence records are retained by Freemius for as long as needed to provide the purchase and to meet tax and legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), you can withdraw it at any time using the “Reject” option in our consent banner. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@itk-agency.com. For purchase data held by Freemius, you can also contact them directly.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, they rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

Children

This website and our plugins are intended for businesses and are not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
